Hundreds of best-selling titles are now available to download to your PC, iPod, MP3 player or other portable device. This is a 24/7 service for Birmingham library members. The collection includes current and classic adult audiobooks, plus a small selection for children.
Click on Create New Account and enter your library card number, with no spaces and leaving off the last two check-characters and PIN. If you have a new Library of Birmingham card, you should enter all the numbers.
Choose whether you will be using the Windows or Mac operating system and whether you wish to use the OneClickdigital Media Manager software to organise your downloads.
You will find much more information on the site by clicking the Help button.
You can download up to 4 audiobooks at a time. You can choose how long they are checked out for - up to 21 days.
To see all the available titles, click on Browse, choose a category from the drop-down menu and click on the magnifying glass/search symbol.
The results of your search will show Not Protected and Protected titles under the heading DRM (Digital Rights Management). The protected titles can only be downloaded through the OneClickdigital Media Manager software, which you will need to install. The unprotected titles can be downloaded manually directly to your PC or device.
